Privacy policy
The shortest version: your data is yours, we don't train on it, and you can take it with you whenever you leave.
1. What we collect
Account & workspace metadata (name, email, organisation). Content you submit to the Service (papers, datasets, prompts, outputs). Usage data (run logs, latency, cost). Diagnostic telemetry (errors, performance traces).
2. How we use it
To operate the Service, run the agents you request, bill correctly, support you, secure the platform, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train shared models.
3. Subprocessors
We use the following subprocessors. Workspace administrators can subscribe to changes at trust.sciento.ai.
- AWS — primary infrastructure (us-east-1, us-west-2, eu-west-1)
- Cloudflare — edge networking, DDoS protection
- Anthropic, OpenAI, Together — model inference (BYOK available)
- WorkOS — SSO and SCIM
- Stripe — billing
- Sentry, Datadog — observability
4. Retention
Operational data: for the life of the workspace + 90 days post-termination, after which permanent deletion. Audit logs: configurable per tier (7 days, 1 year, custom). Backups: 30 days encrypted, then overwritten.
5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Email privacy@sciento.ai — we respond within 30 days.
6. International transfers
EU and UK customers can elect EU residency at workspace creation. Where transfers are necessary, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Children
The Service is not intended for users under 18.
8. Changes
We will notify workspace administrators of material changes at least 30 days in advance.
